Kelsey Welch, RYT-200 (she/her)As a former gymnast and competitive athlete, yoga arose into importance in my life in my later 20s initially as a method of physical healing. After exploring the 8 limbs of yoga, I realized the true reasons why I was drawn to the practice: the need for inner balance, spirituality and self-discipline. I also love to use my background in classical music to bring my voice into Sound Healing ceremonies and Savasanas.
In my classes, I strive to create a safe and sacred space for students to connect to all aspects of their being. Focusing on deep, slow breathing and anchoring the mind in an intention or mantra are the main focuses of my classes, topped off with etheric and ambient background music. My aim is to guide the individual to connect to their physical sensations and to explore and investigate their inner non-physical dimensions. |
