Amanda's Weekly Schedule

Amanda Sherer, RYT-200 (she/her)Amanda first tried a yoga class in 2011 but was made to feel like such an outsider, she never went back. Fast forward a few years, and she fell in love with cardio dance and began teaching group fitness classes throughout the community. Eventually she wanted to transition to something that was more low impact, so she began practicing yoga regularly during COVID and it quickly became her new favorite form of movement.
Amanda completed her 200 hour teacher training in 2021 and has been focused on creating yoga classes where everyone feels like they belong ever since. The thing she loves most about yoga is how multifaceted it is. Depending on the style and intention, it can relax the mind, increase physical strength and stamina, alleviate everyday aches and pains, and nurture the soul. All with just a body and a mat. She appreciates all forms of yoga classes, from slower and restorative to unconventional and high-intensity. She is a strong advocate of yoga being for every body, offers various options, and encourages everyone to just do what feels good. As a visual learner herself, her teaching style is very demonstrative in addition to giving verbal direction. When she's not leading movement, you can find her working as a freelance translator, spending time with her husband, daughter, and pets, and listening to Brandi Carlile on repeat.
