Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm Slow Flow 90F
Tara De Sciscio-Fussell, RYT-200
Tara leads a slow, steady breath-paced (vinyasa) class giving time in and between asana (poses) for attention to breath. Her goal is for students to fully feel each pose in their bodies and link movement to a slow, mindful breath.
Tara to all abilities, offering different options with poses and props. Students leave class with a feeling of self-love, acceptance, and gratitude for all they are.
I received my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in February of 2023 through the DragonFly Teacher Training Program. I have also taken yoga training classes through Yoga Farm out of Ithaca, New York. I have practiced yoga intermittently for years, but it wasn’t until I gave myself the space and permission to practice regularly, that I fell in love with the ongoing practice and felt its benefits.
Yoga Teacher Training was an absolutely amazing journey for me and I learned so much about myself while spending time on my mat. For me, yoga is a healing space for my thoughts and feelings and helps me to focus on the big, important things in life, rather than the small things that can weigh a person down. This is a practice that I love coming back to and I work hard to use the breath work throughout all aspects of my life. The sense of calm and well-being felt after an hour on my mat is indescribable, and my hope is that students leave my class feeling a little calmer, happier, grounded, a bit more grateful, and can carry this into their lives off the mat.
